Despite growing progress, the last UK Government report stated over 20% of all waste collected was still recorded as being sent to landfills. Unfortunately, the leisure sector also contributes to this problem.
The demand for smarter recycling solutions is needed more than ever.”
Here at Arundel Lido, one of our main initiatives it to help reduce waste and our impact on the environment. A large amount of our waste comes from broken pool equipment and needs to be recycled. Located on site is our new Leisure loop eco bin! Any broken pool equipment ranging from old goggles to broken floats to flip flops can now be recycled!
